A journey into the galactic unknown, where slow, dark space Drone Ambient meets black holes, dark matter, supernovas, and unknown worlds. A sci-fi experience with a cinematic feel, packed with suspenseful, intense ominous sounds, which will challenge the senses and the imagination.
Synopsis:
"Traveling lost out in the endless cosmos for over three years, our crew, now exhausted and complacent, wonders each day what our fate will be. Passing star systems light years from Earth, our friends and families are only a distant memory. Even though we never expect to see them again, we must keep pushing on to survive.
Our latest challenge, to attempt repairs of our starboard side deep space radio antennae, recently damaged by large passing meteorites. Without our antennae, we have no hope of ever sending radio signals back to earth.
Two of our most dedicated and valuable crew members volunteer to suit up, and once again leave the safety and warmth of our faithful mothership.
As we say good luck from the cargo bay, it is always painfully difficult to watch them depart, even though they will be just outside the craft. Deep space is an extremely hostile and fluid environment, and we know that this is one of the most dangerous and risky missions to date. In addition to our main antenna, our guidance compass system has also been compromised, leaving us with no way of knowing the direction we are traveling. For the moment, the dark sky around us is calm and clear. However, we know at any minute a fierce cosmic storm can appear in our direction. If the rescue team is hit, even by the tiniest of space rocks, we would be permanently saying goodbye to these heroic crew members.
As the team floats outside past our viewing deck, they slowly inch their way down to the underbelly of our massive titanium space vessel.
The repairs will take hours. Even in their heavily insulated warm thermos suits, their bodies tremble from the frigid freezing sub-zero temperatures of this unforgiving atmosphere. We wait and watch helplessly."
